Who we are?

Hi my name is Larry Taylor founder of DIV Collection and the store Div2live.com. I just want to give you a little content about myself and the brand. So please take a few moments to hang out with me. I was born and raised on the West Side of Chicago Illinois. I’m the oldest of 4 siblings raised by a single mother. And If you know anything about Chicago, you know that the Streets are not playing no games. So being a kid from Chicago you had to grow up fast. Not so much of getting into things but knowing how to move through all the things that were present to you like a front row seat at the theater. Fascinated with the culture of Art, Music and Fashion. I never imagined I would have a brand of my own. The brand is deeply rooted from the Streets I walked, played, and hung out on.The main strip was called Division Street. This was where all the action was happening. And like every other Urban community across the country Drugs were a heavy influence in the communities. Turned a lot of young men into Hustlers. But there was also a positive side to my community. A lot of young boys getting scholarships to Catholic Schools to play Basketball or Football. And also small business owned by black men and women. But the narcotics would have It's way with the community and also the gangs. I love where I was from and was proud to be from off Division. So I created a brand from the 3 letters of a Street where I grew up. Being a little boy all my DREAMS started there. I was Inspired by people there. And the visions I saw also stemmed from there. So I took those words and called the brand DREAMS INSPIRE VISIONS. Known as the DIV COLLECTION. 

SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS. No matter where you come from you are the key to open any door you want to walk through. Be inspired by your dreams. Work hard and your visions will become your reality.
